The Ramblas ADV is Aventon's hardtail electric mountain bike, and the ADV update brings it in line with the Current and Level 4 ADV: a new A100 mid-drive motor with 100Nm of torque, a torque sensor built into the motor, and Aventon's Ride Tune app control. The motor is rated at 250W sustained and 750W peak, which is plenty for Seattle-area climbs, and the 708Wh battery (LG 21700 cells) is rated for up to 90 miles of range. AUTO mode adjusts assist to the terrain on its own, or pick ECO, TRAIL, or TURBO and fine-tune each in the app.

The parts are proper trail parts: a RockShox Psylo Silver R fork with 130mm of travel and 35mm stanchions, a SRAM NX 12-speed drivetrain with a 10-50T cassette, SRAM DB6 4-piston hydraulic brakes on 200mm and 180mm rotors, 29in tubeless-ready wheels with Maxxis Rekon 2.4in tires, and a 150mm Manic dropper post. At 54 lbs it is light for an eMTB, and the modern geometry (66.5 degree head angle, 465mm chainstays) is stable on descents without feeling sluggish on the way up. Integrated lights are included for riding home after the trail.
