Lectric changes these promotions periodically, so you get whatever is listed the day we order.
The XP4 750 is the full-power version of America's best-selling eBike, and the step up from the 500 buys the two things riders actually notice: torque and range. The 750W M24 Stealth rear hub motor peaks at 1,310W with 85Nm, which is enough to pull away from a stop on a Capitol Hill grade with a loaded rack. The 48V 17.5Ah (840Wh) battery is nearly double the 500's and is rated up to 85 miles; Electric Bike Report measured 63 miles in eco and 37 miles pinned in max assist, so a full commute week between charges is realistic.
The rest of the package is the same well-sorted folder. The PWR+ torque sensor meters power to your actual pedaling effort instead of switching it on and off, so Class 3 speeds up to 28 mph arrive smoothly rather than all at once. Star Union 602 hydraulic brakes on 180mm rotors stopped in 16'1" in Electric Bike Report's testing, the best result they have recorded from a folding bike. Integrated turn signals and a brake-activated taillight help in traffic, a 50mm coil fork with preload and lockout takes the edge off broken pavement, and the 3.5" color TFT display detaches and charges your phone over USB-C. Battery and bike are UL 2271 and UL 2849 certified, and the step-thru frame folds to 37" x 17" x 29".
Highlights:
Size guide: One size, adjustable fit — 19" standover, seat height adjustable from 29.5" to 42", recommended for riders approximately 4'10" to 6'3".
