What is the WE-Bike Rebate?

Washington State is making e-bikes more affordable! The WE-Bike rebate gives residents up to $1,200 off a new electric bike.

This rebate can cover part — or almost all — of the cost of an e-bike from Bike Swift.

How do I use my rebate?

If you were approved for a rebate, you can come to Bike Swift and provide us with your code. We will apply the rebate to the purchase of any of the eligible bikes we sell! See HERE for eligible bikes, and come by for a test ride!

What's the best way to use my rebate?

Keep the following in mind as you shop for an e-bike using your WE-Bike rebate:

• Test ride! There's no better way to learn about an e-bike than by riding on it.
• The shop where you purchase your bike from will be your service center, at least during the bike's warranty period. Is the shop convenient for you? Does it have good online reviews? Do you trust it?
• Get the right bike first, and consider price second. This is an investment in transportation that should last you many, many years!

What bikes can I use the rebate on, and how much do they cost?

Bikes must be UL2849 certified, class 1, 2, or 3, and approved by Washington State for the program. The eligible bikes that we stock at Bike Swift are listed HERE (note: not an exhaustive list! If you want to use your rebate on another bike from Aventon, Marin, Kona, XtraCycle, Yuba, or Benno, contact us and we can likely order it for you!).

If there are other bikes from Aventon, Marin, or Kona that you would like to use your rebate for that aren't listed on this page, reach out! We can likely order them.

No, only complete, turn-key e-bikes are eligible.
