How much is the rebate?

There are two rebate levels:

1. $300 rebate — available to any Washington resident age 16 or older.
2. $1,200 income-qualified rebate — available to Washington residents age 16 or older whose household income is at or below 80% of their area's median income (AMI).

What will it actually cost me?

Here are two of our most popular bikes with the rebate applied. Prices include our $99 assembly fee, Seattle sales tax (10.55%), and the $15 battery recycling fee where it applies:

How do I apply?

1. Go to the WSDOT application portal and submit your application.
2. If you already have an account from the 2025 program, you will not need to verify your email. Just log in with your password and continue the application.
3. Wait for your notification. Drawings happen on the second Monday of each month. If you're selected, you'll receive instructions on how to verify eligibility, and you'll have 96 hours to respond.

That's it — one application puts you in the pool for the rest of the program year. But remember: the first draw has the best odds, so apply today.

How do I use my rebate at Bike Swift?

If you're selected, bring your rebate code to Bike Swift. We'll apply it instantly to the purchase of any eligible bike we sell — no reimbursement paperwork, no waiting. Come by for a test ride before or after you apply!

If you know what bike you would like to purchase, you can send us an email ([email protected]) or text with your rebate code, along with what bike you want (please include color and size as well). We will send you a deposit link equal to 50% of the total you will pay after the rebate is applied to reserve and build your bike. We will notify you once it's ready for pickup, and you can pay the remainder and apply your rebate in person.

Frequently Asked Questions

What bikes are eligible for the rebate?

Bikes must be UL2849 certified, class 1, 2, or 3, and approved by Washington State. We carry several eligible models and can order many more.

Can I use the rebate on an e-bike conversion?

No, only complete, turn-key e-bikes are eligible.

What if I don't get the rebate?

We still offer affordable e-bike options! Reach out — we'd love to help you find the right bike.
